Here are some projects I've worked on during the past years. They range from visual/interface design, games, art and physical computing
"On the Media" is a radio news show from WNYC that examines the impact of media on our lives. Brian Maniere and I worked on the visual design and interactive design of "On the Media" new site.
This is a project for an interactive version of the children's book "Snowy Day". The book pages have embedded sensors that trigger sound and animations based on the illustrations of each page.
"Terraformer" was created as a group project(with Eric Socolovsky and Matt Walsh) in a game class with Peter Lee and Katie Salen, at NYU. I worked on the visual, interface and game design.
"Curso Abril" is a website for a training course for new talents in journalism, design and photography at Abril Press. I worked on the visual design and development.
"SEARCHSCAPES: MANHATTAN" is an attempt to create a tridimensional map of Manhattan, using existing data from the web. The objective is to compare the city's "physical spaces" and "information spaces".
"Hamster Run" is a 3D game prototype that uses physics to create a realistic experience of sliding with a snowboard on a canyon. The software used was Lightwave (for the modeling) and Virtools (as the game engine).
"American Legend" was a cd-rom with advertising campaign for American Legend brands. I worked on the visual design for this cd-rom while freelancing at design studio Ecor.
"Portal do Sabor" was a website about food, drinks, and recipes, from Abril Press. I worked on the visual design, new design proposals, and the daily update of the website.
"LEGO X-POD PlayOff cards" is a GameLab card game for LEGO, to be played with the X-Pod, a new Lego release. As an intern at Gamelab, I worked on the visual design for cards, rules, etc.
"Rain clock" is a project that uses sound, text and interactivity to tell time. The visual inspiration came from the poem from Guillaume Apollinaire, "Il Pleut".
It was done at Amit Pitaru's class, Code and Me, using Processing.
"Urban Fragments" is a series of experiments I've made to create an image of the city of Sao Paulo (Brazil), using type, photography and interactivity.
"Brasil 500 Years" is a catalog of a special edition of books by Sao Paulo University Press. The objective was to communicate the 500 years of change in Brazilian culture.
